Code Ann. § 56-6-1102","heading":"Requirement to hold a limited lines license to sell or offer coverage","body":"(a) A vendor is required to hold a limited lines license to sell or offer coverage under a policy of portable electronics insurance. A vendor who has met the requirements of this part shall be entitled to a limited lines business entity producer's license, without examination, authorizing the vendor to sell or offer coverage under a policy of portable electronics insurance.\n(b) A limited lines license issued to a vendor under this section shall authorize any employee or authorized representative of the vendor to sell or offer coverage under a policy of portable electronics insurance to a customer at each location at which the vendor engages in portable electronics transactions.\n(c) In connection with a vendor's initial application for licensure and at renewal, the vendor shall provide a list to the commissioner of all locations in this state at which the vendor offers coverage.\n(d) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a license issued pursuant to this section shall authorize the licensee and its employees or authorized representatives to engage in activities permitted in this part.","path":["TN Code","Title 56","Chapter 6"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"796d067e76230c03e51fc0e7e30e159f606bf9262fdc567697b8cd127d4b67cd","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-56-6-1101","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-56-6-1103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
