Code Ann. § 6-51-203","heading":"Recording of deannexation ordinance by contracting municipality","body":"Upon approving deannexation by ordinance in accordance with § 6-51-201 , a contracting municipality shall record the ordinance with the register of deeds in the county or counties where the deannexation was adopted or approved. The ordinance must include a detailed description of the deannexed territory, including, but not limited to, map and parcel numbers of all real property within the deannexed territory.
