Code Ann. § 62-32-207","heading":"Prohibited practices","body":"No person may:\n(1) Engage in the business of servicing portable fire extinguishers without a current certificate of registration;\n(2) Engage in the business of installing or servicing fixed fire extinguisher systems without a current certificate of registration;\n(3) Service portable fire extinguishers or service or install fixed fire extinguisher systems without a current license;\n(4) Perform hydrostatic testing of portable fire extinguishers without a valid authorization to do such work;\n(5) Obtain or attempt to obtain a certificate of registration or license by fraudulent representation;\n(6) Service portable fire extinguishers or service or install fixed fire extinguisher systems contrary to this part or the rules and regulations formulated and administered under the authority of this part;\n(7) Service or perform hydrostatic testing of a fire extinguisher that does not have a label of approval of a testing laboratory approved by the department;\n(8) Sell, service or recharge a carbon tetrachloride fire extinguisher; or\n(9) Sell, rent or lease a portable fire extinguisher that has not been approved as provided by § 62-32-205(a) .","path":["TN Code","Title 62","Chapter 32"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"4eb54a6ba15a107df56f598136ef420554fc82652628b74148bae1f305645f38","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-62-32-206","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-62-32-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
