Code Ann. § 64-2-302","heading":"Effective date","body":"This part shall take effect when:\n(1) Two (2) or more of the counties of Coffee, Warren and White and the cities of Manchester, Doyle, McMinnville, Morrison, Tullahoma and Sparta are authorized by a majority vote of their respective governing bodies to become members of the authority;\n(2) Evidence of such authorization is proclaimed and countersigned by the presiding officer of each ratifying county and city and certified by that presiding officer to the secretary of state; and\n(3) The governing bodies of all governments voting to become members of the authority have indicated their willingness to appropriate sufficient funds to provide for the initial administration of the authority.","path":["TN Code","Title 64","Chapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"f60cee6a4342b5cff67d997a32f0805be3900add8db06a0b9d68e3a9dec40839","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-64-2-301","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-64-2-303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
