Code Ann. § 65-11-103","heading":"Construction, maintenance and repair","body":"Every corporation or person operating a line of railroad within the state is required to maintain or construct to a plane with the rails of the railroad and to keep in repair every public road crossing of such railroad for a distance of ten feet (10') on each side of such railroad track and between the rails thereof. Where superelevated track or tracks or other physical conditions make strict compliance with this section impractical, the plane shall be constructed so as to provide the best vertical alignment under the circumstances with due regard to surface regularity.
