Code Ann. § 66-27-409","heading":"Quorums","body":"(a) Unless the bylaws provide otherwise, a quorum is present throughout any meeting of the association if persons entitled to cast twenty percent (20%) of the votes that may be cast for election of the board of directors are present in person or by proxy at the beginning of the meeting.\n(b) Unless the bylaws specify a larger percentage, a quorum is deemed present throughout any meeting of the board of directors if persons entitled to cast fifty percent (50%) of the votes on that board are present at the beginning of the meeting.\n(c) Attendance at a meeting may be in person, by telephone, or by any other means specified in the bylaws.
