Code Ann. § 68-11-232","heading":"Construction of chapter regarding providing assisted-care living facility services and care.","body":"(a) Nothing in this chapter shall require or authorize the state medicaid agency or a managed care organization to approve, supply or cover the services set out in § 68-11-201 for assisted-care living facilities.\n(b) Nothing in this chapter shall require or authorize the state medicaid agency or a managed care organization to approve, supply or cover medically necessary home care services provided in an assisted-care living facility, where the home care services are provided, supervised or directed by any person or entity with an ownership or control interest or by a managing employee of an entity with an ownership or control interest in the licensed assisted-care living facility or a licensed nursing home.\n(c) Nothing in this chapter shall require any other third party payer to approve, supply or cover medically necessary home care services provided in an assisted-care living facility, where the home care services are provided, supervised or directed by any person or entity with an ownership or control interest or by a managing employee of an entity with an ownership or control interest in the licensed assisted-care living facility or a licensed nursing home.","path":["Title 68 Health, Safety and Environmental Protection","Chapter 11 Health Facilities and Resources","Part 2 Regulation of Health and Related Facilities"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.tn.tca/release76.2021.05.21/gov.tn.tca.title.68.odt","current_through":"2021-05-21","vintage":"Tennessee Code Release 76 (2021-05), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:57:36Z","sha256":"2caedf921fd7166cc8ce4f1b7ae0ae8a4b5013d050dd5bb55f98f12bb2669889","source_id":"us-tn","stale":true,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-11-231","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-11-233"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
