Code Ann. § 68-140-405","heading":"Rules relating to AED's — Adoption — Scope and contents.","body":"The department of health shall adopt rules specifying the following:\n(1) The contents of the written notice required by § 68-140-404;\n(2) Reporting requirements for each use of an AED;\n(3) The contents of a plan prepared in accordance with § 68-140-404 and requirements applicable to the subject matter of the plan;\n(4) Training requirements in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED use that are consistent with the scientific guidelines of the American Heart Association for any individual authorized by an AED program plan to use an AED;\n(5) Requirements for medical supervision of an AED program; and\n(6) Performance requirements for an AED in order for the AED to be used in an AED program.","path":["Title 68 Health, Safety and Environmental Protection","Chapter 140 Emergency Services","Part 4 Automated External Defibrillators"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.tn.tca/release76.2021.05.21/gov.tn.tca.title.68.odt","current_through":"2021-05-21","vintage":"Tennessee Code Release 76 (2021-05), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:57:36Z","sha256":"fba50ea0547e544c179cc55e14d009b3d7474925362eed9fec5ba9a6bd0ff9ca","source_id":"us-tn","stale":true,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-140-404","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-140-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
