Code Ann. § 68-211-104","heading":"Unlawful methods of disposal","body":"It is unlawful to:\n(1) Place or deposit any solid waste into the waters of the state except in a manner approved by the department or the Tennessee board of water quality, oil and gas;\n(2) Burn solid wastes except in a manner and under conditions prescribed by the department and the Tennessee air pollution control board;\n(3) Construct, alter, or operate a solid waste processing or disposal facility or site in violation of the rules, regulations, or orders of the commissioner or in such a manner as to create a public nuisance; or\n(4) Transport, process or dispose of solid waste in violation of this chapter, the rules and regulations established under this chapter or in violation of the orders of the commissioner or board.","path":["TN Code","Title 68","Chapter 211"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"c5fb317db7985906f7115771e105496504c17cc22c269852f5e833b0eab5db68","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-211-103","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-211-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
