Code Ann. § 68-215-104","heading":"Unlawful actions","body":"It is unlawful to:\n(1) Cause or permit the release of a petroleum substance from a petroleum underground storage tank into the environment;\n(2) Construct, alter or operate a petroleum underground storage tank in violation of this chapter or the rules or regulations established pursuant thereto;\n(3) Refuse or fail to pay to the department fees assessed pursuant to this chapter and in violation of the rules, regulations, or orders of the commissioner or board;\n(4) Receive, or to attempt to receive reimbursement from the petroleum underground storage tank fund in a fraudulent manner;\n(5) Refuse or fail to comply with any order of the commissioner or the board that has become final;\n(6) Install petroleum underground storage tanks that do not meet the minimum standards pursuant to this chapter; or\n(7) Submit to the department any document, in written or electronic format, known to be false or known to contain any materially false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or entry; knowingly make any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or knowingly falsify, conceal, or cover up a material fact.","path":["TN Code","Title 68","Chapter 215"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"97d7396af188f0b04cedbfc311d306d84c1a1bcc466e77b7372f06d59829a34e","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-215-103","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-215-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
