Code Ann. § 68-3-501","heading":"Uniform Determination of Death Act.","body":"(a) This section may be cited as the “Uniform Determination of Death Act.”\n(b) An individual who has sustained either:\n(1) Irreversible cessation of circulatory and respiratory functions; or\n(2) Irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem;\nis dead.
