Code Ann. § 68-3-605","heading":"Composition of state team.","body":"The composition of the state team shall include:\n(1) The commissioner of health or the commissioner's designee;\n(2) The state maternal and child health director or the director's designee;\n(3) A physician licensed or certified under title 63, chapter 6 or 9, with training in obstetrics;\n(4) A physician licensed or certified under title 63, chapter 6 or 9, with training in neonatology;\n(5) A hospital-based nurse with experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, or maternity care;\n(6) The chief medical examiner or the examiner's designee;\n(7) The chair of the health and welfare committee of the senate, or the chair's designee;\n(8) The chair of the health committee of the house of representatives, or the chair's designee; and\n(9) Additional members as determined by the department, including representatives from multiple disciplines and relevant community-based organizations as necessary to fulfill the intent of this part.","path":["Title 68 Health, Safety and Environmental Protection","Chapter 3 Vital Records Act of 1977","Part 6 Maternal Mortality Review and Prevention Act of 2016"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.tn.tca/release76.2021.05.21/gov.tn.tca.title.68.odt","current_through":"2021-05-21","vintage":"Tennessee Code Release 76 (2021-05), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:57:36Z","sha256":"abfffef3a84f4ca611e10d04c252ace1e756761557d3ded9954758fdb7ef753d","source_id":"us-tn","stale":true,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-3-604","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-3-606"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
