[Effective until June 30, 2021.]","body":"(a) The commissioner of health is authorized to create the Tennessee suicide prevention program.\n(b) The department shall establish a team that shall:\n(1) Compile existing data on suicide deaths;\n(2) Review existing resources and programs related to suicide prevention;\n(3) Identify evidence-based or promising practices related to the prevention of suicide;\n(4) Convene relevant stakeholders to review existing data and existing programs and resources and identify opportunities to improve data collection and analysis and programming; and\n(5) Submit a report to the general assembly no later than June 30, 2020, recommending any necessary programs or policies to prevent suicide deaths in this state.","path":["Title 68 Health, Safety and Environmental Protection","Chapter 3 Vital Records Act of 1977","Part 7 Suicide Prevention Act of 2018 [Effective until June 30, 2021.]"],"source_url":"https://archive.org/download/gov.tn.tca/release76.2021.05.21/gov.tn.tca.title.68.odt","current_through":"2021-05-21","vintage":"Tennessee Code Release 76 (2021-05), retrieved 2026-09-17","retrieved_at":"2026-09-17T21:57:36Z","sha256":"05e892da6a026c894c8a0e4a33e2ba3566a3ae3d7900ecf2741e5402fa6f3ec7","source_id":"us-tn","stale":true,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-3-702","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-68-4-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
