Code Ann. § 7-1-108","heading":"Appointment of state officials to public utility boards","body":"Notwithstanding any law, including any municipal or metropolitan charter to the contrary, the appropriate appointing authority may appoint at least one (1) elected state official to serve as a member of the board of any public utility operated by a municipality or metropolitan government.
