See T.C.A. 71-3-1113] Part definitions","body":"As used in this part, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) \"Department\" means the department of finance and administration;\n(2) \"Enrollee\" means an individual who is eligible and enrolled in the program;\n(3) \"Program\" means any program established to provide health coverage to children pursuant to this part;\n(4) \"Tennessee medicaid program\" means the federal- and state-financed, state-run program of medical assistance established pursuant to Title XIX ( 42 U.S.C. § 1396 et seq.), including any waivers thereof;\n(5) \"Title XIX\" means Title XIX of the Social Security Act, Subchapter XIX, Chapter 7 of Title 42, United States Code ( 42 U.S.C. § 1396 et seq.), providing grants to states for medical assistance programs; and\n(6) \"Title XXI\" means Title XXI of the Social Security Act, Subchapter XXI, Chapter 7 of Title 42, United States Code ( 42 U.S.C. §§ 1397aa , et seq.), establishing the State Children's Health Insurance Program.","path":["TN Code","Title 71","Chapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_tn_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:26Z","sha256":"caca6ecb7754e0442bc9ef03b122748e50200d31576716385c8c3a1ce08cda61","source_id":"us-tn","stale":false,"prev":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-71-3-1101","next":"us-tn/tenn.-code-ann.-71-3-1103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
