Code Ann. § 8-36-917","heading":"Reemployment in a covered position","body":"Except as otherwise provided in part 8 of this chapter, any retired participant who returns to service in a position covered by the retirement system shall have such participant's retirement allowance under the defined benefit component of the plan suspended while so employed.
