Code Ann. § 8-50-812","heading":"Veteran sick leave","body":"In addition to the sick leave granted under § 8-50-802 , a state employee who is a veteran with a service-connected disability of thirty percent (30%) or more receives thirty-six (36) hours of leave each year that can be used to attend appointments related to the service-connected disability.
