Agriculture Code § 12.033","heading":"MULTIPLE LICENSES.","body":"(a) In this section:\n(1) \"Component license\" means a license issued by the department that is consolidated under this section.\n(2) \"Grocer\" means a person whose business consists primarily of the retail sale of food for human consumption.\n(b) A grocer who holds more than one type of license issued by the department may obtain from the department a single consolidated license. A consolidated license authorizes each of the activities of the component licenses.\n(c) The department by rule shall implement a program for the issuance of a consolidated license under this section. The rules shall include provisions for:\n(1) a fee schedule for the consolidated license that considers:\n(A) the cost of operating each component license program; and\n(B) the economic efficiency gained by the department through the operation of a consolidated license program;\n(2) the suspension or revocation of a consolidated license for a violation of a rule or statute authorizing one of the component licenses;\n(3) the combination of all inspections required for the component licenses into a single inspection; and\n(4) any other provision the department determines is necessary to implement this section.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 419, Sec. 8.01, eff.
