Agriculture Code § 131.122","heading":"APIARY EQUIPMENT BRANDS.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person:\n(1) violates Section 131.061 of this code; or\n(2) alters or attempts to alter a registered apiary equipment brand without authorization from the chief apiary inspector.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.\n(c) Each of the following is prima facie evidence of an offense under this section:\n(1) unauthorized possession of equipment on which the brand has been altered;\n(2) possession of branded equipment without a bill of sale or written proof of ownership; or\n(3) use of a registered brand that is not registered to the person using the brand.\nAmended by Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 1884, ch. 350, Sec. 1, eff.
