Agriculture Code § 132.003","heading":"POWERS AND DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT.","body":"(a) The department shall administer this chapter and adopt and enforce necessary rules.\n(b) The department may:\n(1) prescribe record forms and require the reporting of information as necessary in the administration of this chapter; and\n(2) make reciprocal agreements with other states for the inspection of locations outside of the state at which eggs are classed, graded, and weighed.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1314, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
