Agriculture Code § 144.124","heading":"IMPROPERLY RECORDING BRAND.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if, as county clerk, the person records a brand for which the person recording the brand fails to designate the part of the animal on which the brand is to be placed.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $50.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1362, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
