Agriculture Code § 161.057","heading":"CLASSIFICATION OF AREAS.","body":"(a) The commission by rule may prescribe criteria for classifying areas in the state for disease control. The criteria must be based on sound epidemiological principles. The commission may prescribe different control measures and procedures for areas with different classifications.\n(b) The commission by rule may designate as a particular classification an area consisting of one or more counties.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 31, Sec. 1, eff.
