Agriculture Code § 41.023","heading":"NOTICE OF REFERENDUM AND ELECTION.","body":"(a) The certified organization shall give public notice of:\n(1) the date, hours, and polling places for voting in the referendum and election;\n(2) the estimated amount and basis of the assessment proposed to be collected;\n(3) whether a producer exemption is to be allowed in accordance with Section 41.082; and\n(4) a description of the manner in which the assessment is to be collected and the proceeds administered and used.\n(b) The commissioner by rule shall prescribe the manner for providing public notice under Subsection (a).\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1083, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
