Agriculture Code § 41.151","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Beef products\" means products produced in whole or in part from beef. The term does not include milk or products made from milk.\n(2) \"Council\" means the Beef Promotion and Research Council of Texas.\n(3) \"Producer\" means a person who owns or acquires ownership of cattle, except that a person is not a producer if the person's only share in the proceeds of a sale of cattle or beef is a sales commission, handling fee, or other service fee.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., 3rd C.S., ch. 3, Sec. 25.03, eff.
