Agriculture Code § 52.101","heading":"BOARD OF DIRECTORS.","body":"(a) A board of directors shall manage a marketing association.\n(b) The board shall be composed of five or more directors who are elected by the members of the association.\n(c) Except as provided by Subsection (d) of this section, a person must be a member of the association to be eligible to serve as a director.\n(d) As prescribed by the bylaws of the association that is holding the meeting, a marketing association that is a member of the association may designate any of its members to vote on behalf of the member association or to serve as a director of the association holding the meeting.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1111, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
