Agriculture Code § 60.004","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Assessment\" means a charge levied against real property located within a district's boundaries or against an agricultural product produced on real property in the district to pay the costs associated with the district's purposes, including a reassessment or supplemental assessment.\n(2) \"Board\" means the board of directors of a district.\n(3) \"Bond\" means an obligation issued by a district under this chapter, including a bond, certificate, note, or other evidence of indebtedness.\n(4) \"Director\" means a member of the board of directors of a district.\n(5) \"District\" means a Texas Agricultural Development District established under this chapter.\n(6) \"Project\" means an agricultural project designated under Section 60.054.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1393, Sec. 1, eff.
