Agriculture Code § 71.116","heading":"PENALTIES.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person:\n(1) wilfully or negligently violates a provision of this subchapter; or\n(2) makes a false representation of plants by use of a certificate tag or stamp.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.\n(c) A person finally convicted of an offense under this section shall be removed from the list of certified growers for a period of 12 months.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1163, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
