Agriculture Code § 78.002","heading":"LEGISLATIVE DETERMINATION.","body":"The legislature has determined that:\n(1) noxious weeds are present in this state to a degree that poses a threat to agriculture and is deleterious to the proper use of soil and other natural resources; and\n(2) reclamation of land from noxious weeds is a public right and duty in the interest of conservation and development of the natural resources of the state.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1209, ch. 388, Sec. 1, eff.
