Alcoholic Beverage Code § 61.45","heading":"DENIAL OF RETAILER'S OR DISTRIBUTOR'S LICENSE: PROHIBITED INTEREST IN PREMISES.","body":"(a) The commission may deny an application for a retail dealer's license if the commission has reasonable grounds to believe and finds that:\n(1) the applicant owns or has an interest in the premises covered by a brewer's or distributor's license; or\n(2) the holder of a brewer's or distributor's license owns or has an interest in the premises sought to be licensed.\n(b) The commission may deny an application for a distributor's license if the commission has reasonable grounds to believe and finds that:\n(1) the applicant owns or has an interest in the premises covered by a retail dealer's license; or\n(2) a holder of a retail dealer's license owns or has an interest in the premises sought to be licensed.\nActs 1977, 65th Leg., p. 467, ch. 194, Sec. 1, eff.
