Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 201.004","heading":"FRAUDULENT AUTHORIZATION FOR SALE OF CERTAIN ITEMS AT RETAIL.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person provides to another person an authorization under Section 201.003(b) and:\n(1) the authorization is forged or contains a false statement; or\n(2) the person displaying the authorization obtained the authorization by fraud.\n(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $100.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 2.01, eff.
