Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 261.009","heading":"CERTIFICATE OF FILING; FEE.","body":"(a) On request of any person, the secretary of state shall issue a certificate that:\n(1) indicates whether on the date and hour stated in the request, there is on file any presently effective utility security instrument naming a particular utility; and\n(2) if there is, states:\n(A) the date and hour the utility security instrument was filed; and\n(B) the names and addresses of each secured party.\n(b) The amount of the fee for a certificate under this section is the same as the amount of the fee provided by Section 9.525(d).\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 2.01, eff.
