Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 302.104","heading":"EFFECTIVE DATE OF REGISTRATION STATEMENT; RENEWAL.","body":"(a) A registration statement takes effect on the date the secretary of state issues the registration certificate and is effective for one year.\n(b) A registration statement may be renewed annually by:\n(1) filing a renewal registration statement containing the information required by Subchapter D; and\n(2) paying the filing fee prescribed by Section 302.106.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 2.01, eff.
