Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 52.156","heading":"ENFORCEMENT BY ATTORNEY GENERAL.","body":"(a) The attorney general shall enforce this chapter.\n(b) The attorney general may:\n(1) recover a civil penalty not to exceed $2,000 for each violation of this chapter; and\n(2) seek equitable relief to restrain a violation of this chapter.\nAmended by:\nActs 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 2.01, eff.
