Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 57.257","heading":"AUDIT OF WARRANTY CLAIMS.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a supplier may audit a warranty claim submitted by a dealer until the first anniversary of the date the claim was paid and may charge back the amount of any claim that is shown by audit to have been misrepresented.\n(b) If an audit conducted under this section shows that a warranty claim has been misrepresented, the supplier may audit any other warranty claims submitted by the affected dealer within the three-year period ending on a date a claim is shown by audit to be misrepresented.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1039 (H.B. 3079), Sec. 2, eff.
