Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 605.004","heading":"DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE.","body":"(a) A violation of this chapter is a deceptive trade practice in addition to the practices described by Subchapter E, Chapter 17, and is actionable by a consumer under that subchapter. Claims related to more than one consumer may not be joined in a single action brought for an alleged violation of this chapter, unless all parties agree.\n(b) A violation of this chapter is subject to an action by the office of the attorney general as provided by Section 17.46(a).\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 87 (S.B. 1969), Sec. 4.012(a), eff.
