Business \u0026 Commerce Code § 622.002","heading":"ACTS CONSTITUTING CONDUCTING SWEEPSTAKES.","body":"For purposes of this chapter, a person conducts a sweepstakes if the person distributes material that:\n(1) promotes a sweepstakes;\n(2) describes one or more sweepstakes prizes;\n(3) states one or more sweepstakes rules;\n(4) includes a current or future opportunity to enter a sweepstakes; or\n(5) provides a method for the recipient of the material to obtain additional information about a sweepstakes.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 2278), Sec. 2.01, eff.
