Business Organizations Code § 200.303","heading":"TRUST MANAGER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.","body":"A trust manager of a real estate investment trust must be an individual. Unless the certificate of formation or bylaws of a real estate investment trust provide otherwise, a person is not required to be a resident of this state or a shareholder of the real estate investment trust to serve as a trust manager. The certificate of formation or bylaws may prescribe other qualifications for trust managers.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff.
