Business Organizations Code § 23.101","heading":"FORMATION.","body":"(a) An institution or order, by resolution or other consent of its members, may incorporate under this subchapter if the institution or order is:\n(1) the grand lodge of Texas, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons;\n(2) the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas;\n(3) the Grand Commandery of Knights Templars of Texas;\n(4) the grand lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Texas; or\n(5) another similar institution or order organized for charitable or benevolent purposes.\n(b) A corporation formed under this subchapter shall file a certificate of formation in accordance with Chapter 4 that complies with this subchapter.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff.
