Business Organizations Code § 5.152","heading":"APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF NAME.","body":"(a) To register a name under this subchapter, an organization must file an application with the secretary of state.\n(b) The application must:\n(1) state that the organization validly exists and is doing business;\n(2) contain a brief statement of the nature of the organization's business;\n(3) set out:\n(A) the name of the organization;\n(B) the name of the jurisdiction under whose laws the organization is formed; and\n(C) the date the organization was formed; and\n(4) be accompanied by any required filing fee.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff.
