Business Organizations Code § 5.301","heading":"APPLICABILITY OF SUBCHAPTER.","body":"(a) This subchapter applies to service of process, notice, or demand on a series of a domestic limited liability company or a series of a foreign entity.\n(b) For purposes of this subchapter, a reference to a \"series\" is intended to be a reference to a protected series or registered series of a domestic limited liability company or to a series of a foreign entity that has the power to sue or be sued as a separate series under the laws of the jurisdiction of formation of the foreign entity.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 74 (S.B. 1517), Sec. 4, eff.
