Business Organizations Code § 9.102","heading":"CERTIFICATE OF REVOCATION.","body":"(a) If revocation of a registration is required, the secretary of state shall:\n(1) file a certificate of revocation; and\n(2) deliver a certificate of revocation by regular or certified mail to the foreign filing entity at its registered office or principal place of business.\n(b) The certificate of revocation must state:\n(1) that the foreign filing entity's registration has been revoked; and\n(2) the date and cause of the revocation.\n(c) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, the revocation of a foreign filing entity's registration under this subchapter takes effect on the date the certificate of revocation is filed.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 182, Sec. 1, eff.
