Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 140B.061","heading":"CRIMINAL OFFENSE: DELIBERATE NONCOMPLIANCE.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person, with intent to avoid, evade, or prevent compliance with a civil investigative demand issued under this subchapter, knowingly removes from any place, conceals, withholds, destroys, mutilates, alters, or by any other means falsifies any documentary material or otherwise provides inaccurate information.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 885 (H.B. 4635), Sec. 2, eff.
