Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 151.009","heading":"FEES AND COSTS.","body":"(a) The parties, in equal shares, shall pay:\n(1) the special judge's fee; and\n(2) all administrative costs, including the court reporter's fee, related to the trial.\n(b) A cost for a witness called by a party or any other cost related only to a single party's case shall be paid by the party who incurred the cost.\n(c) The state or a unit of local government may not pay any costs related to a trial under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 167, Sec. 3.16(a), eff.
