Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 17.023","heading":"SERVICE ON JOINT-STOCK ASSOCIATION.","body":"(a) In an action against a joint-stock association, citation may be served by:\n(1) serving the president, vice-president, secretary, cashier, assistant cashier, or treasurer of the association;\n(2) serving the local agent of the association in the county in which the suit is brought; or\n(3) leaving a copy of the citation at the principal office of the association during office hours.\n(b) If no officer on whom citation may be served resides in the county in which suit is brought and the association has no agent in that county, citation may be served on any agent representing the association in this state.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 959, Sec. 1, eff.
