Civil Practice and Remedies Code § 23.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Religious organization\" means an organization that meets the standards for qualification as a religious organization under Section 11.20, Tax Code.\n(2) \"Religious holy day\" means a day on which the tenets of a religious organization prohibit its members from participating in secular activities, such as court proceedings.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 589, Sec. 5, eff.
