Education Code § 130.01015","heading":"DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN LIBRARY MATERIALS.","body":"(a) In this section, \"library materials\" means periodicals, books, e-books, tapes, and other media.\n(b) Notwithstanding any other law, a public junior college library may donate library materials to any person or organization if the library materials:\n(1) as determined by library staff:\n(A) duplicate library materials that are a part of the library's collection; or\n(B) are no longer appropriate for inclusion in the library's collection due to age, condition, or obsolete content; and\n(2) have little or no monetary value.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 476 (S.B. 60), Sec. 1, eff.
