Education Code § 130A.055","heading":"CONTACT HOUR FUNDING.","body":"(a) The legislature shall set by appropriation the amount of funding to be provided to a junior college district under this subchapter per contact hour.\n(b) The amount of funding per contact hour must be weighted by discipline to reflect the cost of providing the applicable course.\n(c) The coordinating board shall determine the total amount of contact hour funding to which each junior college district is entitled under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 378 (H.B. 8), Sec. 46, eff.
