Education Code § 19.013","heading":"POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION ADVISORY BOARD.","body":"(a) The district shall establish a postsecondary education advisory board to advise the district and the department regarding postsecondary education programs.\n(b) The advisory board is composed of members who are relevant stakeholders, including representatives of:\n(1) the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board;\n(2) the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation;\n(3) the Texas Workforce Commission;\n(4) public institutions of higher education on a rotating basis;\n(5) an organization that represents the families of students participating in postsecondary education programs administered by the district;\n(6) an organization that advocates for the education of students participating in postsecondary education programs administered by the district; and\n(7) current or former student participants in postsecondary education programs administered by the district.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1022 (S.B. 2405), Sec. 10, eff.
