Education Code § 21.067","heading":"EDUCATOR PREPARATION MATERIALS AND TRAINING.","body":"(a) The commissioner shall develop and make available:\n(1) instructional materials for use in educator preparation programs under this subchapter; and\n(2) training for faculty responsible for preparing educator candidates.\n(b) The materials and training developed under Subsection (a) must:\n(1) be research-based;\n(2) support the development of proficiency in the knowledge and skills specified by rules proposed under Section 21.044(a)(1); and\n(3) allow for an educator candidate to demonstrate the candidate's proficiency, including proficiency in the knowledge and skills described by Subdivision (2).\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1065 (H.B. 2), Sec. 2.13, eff.
