Education Code § 21.508","heading":"AGREEMENT.","body":"A person selected to participate in the program must enter into a written agreement with the agency under which the person agrees to:\n(1) obtain, within the period the agency by rule requires, certification as an elementary or secondary school teacher in this state; and\n(2) accept, during the first school year that begins after the date the person becomes certified, an offer of full-time employment as an elementary or secondary school teacher with a school district in this state.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 396, Sec. 2.07(a), eff.
